BarkBox Monthly Subscription Box For Dogs November 2015 Review
BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. The pricing depends on the length of the subscription, with the best deal being a 12 month subscription plan at $19/mo and the most expensive a month to month plan at $29/mo. Rocket and Jed spotted their November BarkBox as soon as I opened it and the excitement was electric! Border collies are too smart to be “Just Dogs” so they are like having toddlers or preschoolers at your feet. They KNOW.
This month’s box has 2 toys and 3 treats, each one an item of great anticipation to my boys!
3 Leaves-On-A-Rope $16.00
This 22” long tug toy combines with a squeaky toy, a multifunctional combination just addictive to dogs! The leaves slide and squeak, the rope is for tugging. Oh Joy!
Squeaky Corn $15.00
Rocket has this in his crate now. “Mine.”
This is a crinkly, squeaky ear of corn, 100% machine washable, double layered fabric for durability. A winner at my house!
Nature’s Bits with Bison Apples & Peaches $8.00
This is a 6 oz bag of oven-baked soft treats, no artificial colors or flavors, grain and gluten free. Made in USA. Unfortunately they do contain chicken fat so they are off the table for Rocket with his chicken allergy. On the PLUS side, now Jed actually has something of his own!
Holiday Hamwich Treats $8.00
This bag of treats is 5 oz of grain free “honey baked ham,” actually a combination of chick pea flour, pork honey, tapioca flour and cloves. Made in USA, too. No chicken here!
Half Pig Ear $3.00
My dogs love pig ears! I’ll have to saw this in half or there will be hurt feelings.
The boys and I were pleased with this month’s BarkBox and the price of the items totaled $50, a deal no matter what subscription plan you have!
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription. All opinions are 100% our own.
Makes me wish I still had a dog to get this for.
Just wondering if you also got another bag of treats separate in the mail? Perhaps because of the chicken fat in the bison treats? I got a bag of peanut pleasers today with no paperwork inside the box.
No, I never received another bag of treats. But I think that if I had notified them of the chicken issue with the bison treats they would have sent me something else. I let it pass because my other dog can eat them with no problem.
Love barkbox (and Ollysbox) – these subscription boxes are a great idea. This is a really thorough review too! I’ve been trying a couple of the new start ups as the contents can be a bit more quirky. I really like http://gusandlou.com.au/ as it feels very personal 🙂
