April 2019 Crazy CatLadyBox
Theme: Spring Kittens
The product information card details everything in the box, including retail values. All items curated for this month’s theme were made exclusively for CatLadyBox!!
Featured Cat Lady Artist: Roseanna Hanson
Roseanna “Dozy” Hanson is an illustrator and former tattoo artist from the UK. Owner of new streetwear brand The Yorkshire Collective, and mother to a very small and sassy black and white cat called Humbug. See more of her work at dozyshop.etsy.com and theyorkshirecollective.co.uk.
Kitten Pawty Shirt – Exclusive by CatLadyBox ($22.99)
I love this shirt! At first glance, I thought it was a summer music festival t-shirt. Like all CatLadyBox shirts, this one is high quality and very soft. My favorite part is what it says on the orange ball: No Spay, No Neuter, No Service!
We created this shirt in a “spring break” flyer style to make it fun, and our hope is to help promote the impurrtance of spay and neuter! Rescues and shelters need all the help they can get during kitten season, so if you can volunteer or foster for your local organizations, purrlease consider helping them out!
Cat Toothbrush Holder Set – Exclusive by CatLadyBox ($16.99)
These are uniquely adorable toothbrush holders that work surprisingly well! I love the sleek rectangular tray too. It makes it super easy to clean up any water stains left over from wet toothbrushes. This entire ceramic set is very sturdy and looks great on our bathroom counter. This is definitely a winner in our house!
Raining Cats Raincoat – Exclusive by CatLadyBox ($14.99)
I initially thought that this raincoat was going to be too thin and prone to rips. The material almost felt like those disposable plastic ponchos. However, once I took the raincoat out of its matching pouch and tried it on, I was surprised at how lightweight and comfortable it felt! It isn’t quite as thin as I originally thought and it is definitely waterproof! I have already popped this handy raincoat into our car for those unexpected spring rainstorms. So cute and practical!
Bunny Ball Catnip Toy – Exclusive for CatLadyBox ($4.99)
This fuzzy yellow cat toy has the cutest little bunny ears on top! I knew we were in trouble as soon as I pulled it out of the box. Rambo, our sweet black kitty girl, LOVES to rabbit kick these fuzz balls and spends her afternoons tackling and kicking them all over the house! Our goldendoodle, Waffles, is also fiercely attracted to cat toys and immediately gravitated toward this one as soon as Rambo started to play. Hilarious!
Flying Butterfly Toy – Exclusive for CatLadyBox ($5.99)
Now this is a clever little toy! The plastic base looks like a cute white daisy and requires just one AAA battery to operate. As soon as you toggle the switch on, the butterfly actually flutters on its wire and spins in circles around the flower! My sweet tabby girl, Tidbit, aka “Princess Tidbittle Kittles,” LOVED playing with this toy! She’s quite picky with toys and rarely finds one that amuses her. It was a lot of fun to watch her bat the butterfly around on the table!
The April 2019 Crazy CatLadyBox was a hoot! I think they really nailed the “Spring Kittens” theme too. My favorite item has to be the butterfly cat toy! Watching Tidbit play was the highlight of my week and had me laughing for hours! I also love the t-shirt’s design and message behind it. The total value for April’s box is $65.95. This is definitely my favorite box of 2019 so far! What do you think of it?
And finally, here are my obligatory animal photos of my cats (and dog) playing with their new toys!
🙂
