April 2016 Luxily Boutique Box
I discovered this amazing company through Instagram and knew instantly that I needed the inaugural subscription box in my life! Samantha Annen is the founder and curator for Luxily Boutique Box. She began curating and offering the most beautiful pre-made gift boxes, currently available through Luxily’s online store in anticipation for her subscription box release. When I say beautiful, I really mean it. The pre-made gift boxes are absolutely stunning (See HERE). I’m a bit obsessed.
I received my inaugural Luxily Boutique Box earlier this month and squealed with delight when I saw the pretty brown and white package on my porch! It was finally here!!!
The Cost: $49.95 per month (Bi-Monthly)
$134.95 Pre-Pay for 3 boxes (Semi-Annual Subscription) *Save 10% = $44.98 per month

I am so impressed with the box presentation. The inside of the actual box is printed with a beautiful teal and white floral pattern!
Everything was packaged with extreme care under a single layer of bubble wrap, adorned with a pretty little Luxily Boutique sticker.
The information sheet is actually adhered to the inside lid of the box in its own designated spot! This is such a brilliant idea and looks so cute!
First peek!!! Everything is so vibrant and feminine!
[LAFCO New York] Moonglow Apricot Soap (4.5 oz) – Value: $12.00
A specially blended base using only refined coconut oil, 14% pure olive oil, almond oil, rice proteins and natural essential oil based fragrance, make this soap extra luxurious. Ultra skin softening, it contains no extraction solvents, no harsh acids and no chemical preservatives to irritate your skin. Artisanally made, hard milled and hand boxed.
I am actually quite excited about this soap! I have heard wonderful things about LAFCO and their exquisite, luxury soaps.
This one smells divine; I think I’ll put it in our guest bathroom so all of our friends and family can enjoy it!
[Woven Pear] IKat Stand It Socks – Value: $15.00
My mom and I both love socks… it’s kind of ridiculous. I have never heard of Woven Pear before but after looking them up, I discovered that they have just released a sock subscription box service!!! (Check it out HERE!)
The fabric is incredibly soft with extra padding on the bottom. I really like the bright colors and patterns and am going to rock these at work tomorrow. My officemates think I’m crazy because of all the wild socks I wear, but I love it!!
[Emily Ley] To Do Notepad – Value: $10.00
I can never have enough to-do notepads, especially at work where checklists are my life. This notepad is large enough to write down descriptions of projects needing to be done, measuring 5.5″ x 8.5″. I love the gold foil accent at the top and the pink print is very feminine. This notepad is almost too pretty to write on… almost. 🙂
[Betsy White] White Flora Pencils (Set of 8) – Value: $8.00
These are some of the prettiest pencils I’ve ever owned! I use wooden pencils for writing in my music during orchestra rehearsals, so these will definitely come in handy. I really love the gold foil detail on the floral and leaf pattern and hope the pencils write as wonderfully as they look!
[Betsy White] More Doing Mug – Value: $13.00
Modern calligraphy and hand lettering seem to be the big trend these days. I love the look and wish so badly I had the time and skill to do it myself! This is a great motivational mug that says “more doing, less doubting.”
It is printed in a matte gold on both sides, which is great for lefties and righties! Unfortunately my mug collection has officially exceeded the limits of my cabinet space, thanks to previous subscription boxes and all of the Christmas/Birthday/”just because” gifts I’ve been given recently. (Jonathan puts up with a LOT, watching helplessly as my collection of sub box stuff grows bigger and bigger, so when he finally says “Enough!” I must say ok!)
I will be adding this beautiful mug to my growing collection of giveaway items. Hopefully one of you will love & enjoy this mug as much as I would, if I could!
[Lulu & Max] Apricot Marmalade Tea (3.5 oz) – Value: $12.00
I love this tea SO much. First, Lulu & Max are a MOTHER-DAUGHTER company established in 2012! How could I not love and want to support them?? All of the tea is handcrafted and made in small batches, plus 10% of all purchases are donated to various charities.
I am a diehard coffee addict and must have at least one large cup a day (okay, two), but I also grew to love tea while I was pregnant with Little G. Hot tea is a perfect late afternoon beverage, but it has to have great flavor to persuade me not to go for another cup of joe. upon opening the canister, I found moist pieces of actual fruit, flowers, and tea and boy did this smell heavenly!
Unfortunately, I could not find a tea infuser anywhere in my house, but I really wanted to try this tea… soooooo I decided to pick up this adorable little Joie Meow Kitty Tea Infuser, for the sake of this review, of course.
Here’s an Amazon link to the tea infuser I purchased, in case you LOVE this little kitty as much as I do! The infuser works really great, is easy to clean, and c’mon… it’s adorable.
The black loose leaf tea is exquisite and is blended with sticky pieces of apricot, bits of apple, calendula petals and rose hips. I tasted all of the different elements and am hooked. (I’m actually drinking a mason jar of freshly brewed tea as I type this post!) This tea even tastes great cold, which is mostly how I end up drinking it with an almost-three-year-old to chase around…
My Thoughts
April 2016 Luxily Boutique Box Total Value: $70.00
I am positively floored by the amazing curation and value included in Luxily’s inaugural box! I received a TRUE $70 retail value for $49.95, which is fantastic! I loved every single item in the box. It’s always wonderful to discover a product in a subscription box that you suddenly cannot live without, which in my case is the Lulu & Max tea. I will be ordering another canister once I finish this one! (And did I mention, you can order single items from your box directly from the Luxily Store on the website???)
Luxily Boutique Box really knocked it out of the park for me with their first box. You could call it love at first sight… I ended up pulling a “late-night crazy” and ordered a semi-annual subscription!!
I have absolutely NO regrets because the June Box theme is… PINEAPPLE DELIGHT!! I highly recommend you look at this picture from Luxily Boutique Box’s Instagram to see why I’m so excited… I’M SO EXCITED!!!

Hey Sarah! Socks totally rule! I really love this box, like, almost to the point of ridiculousness. 🙂 Maybe we’ll get a sock giveaway going on the blog soon; what do you think? 😉 Surely there are many more sock fanatics out there like us, right??
Love love love love love. Everything, absolutely everything!
Well, this has quickly raced up to the top of my “some day…” dream/wishlist. …And the Info Sheet looks like a brunch menu! Oh my goodness. Love love love.
