Love Reusable Snack Pouch Goodie Bags (Set of 2) | $8.00
These little snack / sandwich bags measure 6″ x 6″ and are perfect to tuck into my lunchbag for work. I am really working on packing my lunch more to help save money and eat healthier.
These snack baggies have the cutest pattern and are dishwasher safe. My only gripe is the very strong band of velcro keeping the bags closed. The velcro will definitely keep your snacks safe from falling out of the baggies, but I definitely cannot subtly nom on any treats at my desk without alerting the entire office that I am about to snack. 🙂
Go Green Miracle Balm (4 oz) | $17.99
This is an all-natural remedy for dry, itchy, burning, chapped, or cracking skin. This balm absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling hydrated without being greasy.
The ingredients list is very simple without any fillers, including coconut oil, shea butter, arnica oil, vitamin E, and beeswax.
The jar did not have a protective seal inside the lid, but looks perfectly untouched. I do not personally have dry skin, so I will not be using this product… However, I am (procrastinating) putting together a little care package for the awesome Subscriptionista from Subscriptionista.com and I think she will get a kick out of trying a new balm!
Kali Organic Tampon Sampler & Wipette | $3.00
This sampler contained one regular tampon & one super tampon plus an individually wrapped wipette. The branding is really cute and earthy. Kali is a subscription box company who ships organic tampons, wipettes and a rotating “period pampering product” monthly.
Kali was founded out of a desire to raise awareness, or at the very least, raise the conversation of what woman are putting in their bodies and how it is affecting them. On a larger scale, how does using a non-biodegradable feminine hygiene product affect the environment?
We’ve made the process of choosing organic a simple one, so simple that you’ll only have to think about it once. Our products are thoughtfully developed to make a woman feel fresh, confident, and beautiful every day. –KaliBoxes.com
Honestly, I was a little confused to receive sample tampons in my Kloverbox, but I do feel the company absolutely fits the theme this month. The pink “super” tampon I received was opened on one end when I took it out of the box, so I had to discard it after taking the photos. Kali Box would make a perfect gift subscription to a new “young woman” and as a go-to sub box for a college lady. (I would have killed for a box like this in college!)
Goodness Knows Very Cranberry Snack Squares | $1.00
This little package contains four delicious-looking square bars packed with dark chocolate, dried cranberries, and roasted almonds. Mmmm. Though I would gladly nom on this until it was gone, I am going to be a most wonderful mommy and share the squares with Little G one day after school on our ride home together. This looks SO good!
Balanced Guru Hug Me Body Butter (4 oz) | $19.99
This is the extra Overstock item that was included in my box. The Hug Me Body Butter was originally in the February 2016 Kloverbox (see my review HERE). I still have a TON of the body butter at home which we haven’t used much since first receiving it. I found the formula to be a little too oily for my skin type. This will be another inclusion in Ms. Subscriptionista’s care package, since we have polar opposite skin types!! I’m glad I am able to gift this to someone who may be able to use it.
My Thoughts
April 2016 Kloverbox Total Value: $49.98
This is really the first time I have been slightly disappointed in my Kloverbox! I think the quality is great and I absolutely love receiving and discovering new organic and all-natural products. Unfortunately, this month’s curation was not a good fit for me personally. I appreciated receiving reusable snack/sandwich bags and know I’m going to enjoy the snack bar with Little G, but I had to discard one of the sample Kali tampons due to the package being opened and did not care to receive two moisturizing balms in my box. I am hoping to be more compatible with next month’s box!

Or you could send ME the balms. My skin is very dry and I use them.
Ha! Perhaps we should do a balm giveaway!! What do you think? I’m all for sharing the love! 🙂
The Balanced Guru Hug Me Body Butter sounds lovely. The tampon in the box is a bit odd in my opinion.
Oooh but those snack pouches are adorable!! Bummer about the tampon!! Did the company get back to you about it?? I would probably give them a heads up! Might be and issue with their packaging??
