Apple Cinnamon Bread
Here’s a tasty recipe to use up a few apples this season. Plus this Apple Cinnamon bread makes your house smell delightful while it bakes! Easy to make and great with cup of coffee any time of the day. You could make several loaves and put a couple in the freezer for later!
Apple Cinnamon Bread
Ingredients
- 1 apples, peeled & chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup orange juice
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9X5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

Stir together chopped apples, lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

In another large bowl cream together butter & sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer. Add eggs & vanilla, beat until smooth. Then add flour, baking powder, & orange juice and mix until just combined.

Add half the batter to the prepared loaf pan, then press in half the apple mixture. Top with the remaining batter, then press remaining apple mixture on top.

Bake about 1 hour 5 minutes, or until loaf is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
This sounds really yummy and great for a crisp fall day. I’m sure it would smell great when it’s baking.
