3 Spring 2018 In-Store/Online Target Beauty Boxes Review
The Homespun Chics purchased these beauty boxes. All opinions are 100% our own.
Target has obviously realized how popular their monthly beauty boxes have become! Last month they created 4 different beauty boxes that were available in stores (and then online), each with a different theme and for $7 each. I purchased 3 of them and this will be just a short look at the products they chose for each of the ones I received.

So what do you think about these three Target Beauty Boxes? They are full of fun, new products to explore and a few to share!
I didn’t realize these were sold in stores…. I thought it was just subscription based. I have tried some ELF and Dr. Teals products and like them. This is a great way to sample products without having to spend a lot of money to find out if you like something.
(Commenting with a personal story because something weird happened.)
I ordered my first round of Beauty Boxes (ever) from Target only a few days ago, on Saturday April 14. I ordered Treat Yourself, ALL THE MASKS, and the Target Beauty Box – April. I ordered (and paid for) all three online along with a number of other items, and was “instructed” to pick up the first to boxes at my local store. No big deal, I thought.
Sooo… Sunday we got smacked with a big snowstorm. (And Wednesday– WHOA! crazy storm.) Monday, I was at the veterinary hospital with my cat. (Side note, we learned that he doesn’t have cancer! And he was SUCH an amazing and well behaved little patient! *over-the-moon happy*)
I digress.
I expected that my two Beauty Boxes would be waiting for me at Target, right? I had plans to go there early Tuesday afternoon. UNTIL…
TUESDAY, 7:39am: I received an email from Target titled, “Sorry, we had to cancel.”
“Hi Ann,
We’re sorry to inform you that we had to cancel items from your order #————-. There was an issue on our end that prevented us from fulfilling your items.
This is something we are working hard to avoid, but we didn’t get it right this time. You have not been charged for the canceled items. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for being our guest.”
Uhh…. (BTW, both of these boxes are currently in stock at my local Target store– according to the website.)
I received the April Box in the mail on Tuesday. The theme is “natural beauty,” for beauty. Thank heavens I didn’t happen to order in one of the other months of the year! Eek, unnatural beauty. (Another side note: I have some unused eyeshadow palettes [L.A. Colors, and Fergie Wet & Wild), should anybody want it]).
I think that my Target store doesn’t like me because I habitually order a bunch of stuff online, and then return it in-store approx. 87 days later.
(Sorry, ladies. It’s 4:35am.)
I think I’m gonna just empty the box, and let my healthy!!!!! cat squish up and try to fit in it.
…One possible TL;DR: Healthy, happy cats + love for the Homespun Chics + sleep deprivation —> oddball comments
Love and hugs,
–Ann
I had no clue they sold boxes like this. These seem like they would be awesome to try. I think I would be more inclined to use the products in the wake up and makeup box.
