2016 Glossybox Holiday Limited Edition
Glossybox is an online monthly beauty subscription box that sends you 5 or more travel size (and sometimes full size) beauty products each month from well known luxury brands and up-and-coming niche brands. You get to try out the best brands and new makeup products for a fraction of the full size cost. They also send the best hair products and skin care products for women.
You can subscribe to Glossybox for $21 each month with free shipping within the USA and receive your five great beauty products to enjoy. They also have a 6 month plan (same price as the monthly plan) and a 12 month plan. The 12 month plan brings the cost down to $18.50 per month.
The Homespun Chics paid for this subscription box. All opinions are 100% our own. This post contains affiliate links.
My 2016 Glossybox Holiday Limited Edition box arrived in a beautiful gold, starry box and the full size beauty products inside were as lush as the presentation!
This box is still available and the cost is $40 for 6 full size items valued at over $184.
Glossybox always has a product information card but this year for the holiday box they sent a very fancy booklet! Each product has its own two page write-up with photos, directions for use, details about the product, and information about company that produced it. And the first page is signed!
NutraLuxe MD – Retro Brow Prime and Extend Duo ($30)
This is an all-in-one product to amplify the appearance of your natural brows. It has 2 brushes – one goes into pigmented primer that acts as a holding base and the other goes into cellulose fibers. When the primer fuses with the fibers on your brows they appear thicker and fuller!
Skin & Co. Roma – Truffle Therapy Cleansing Oil 6.8 oz ($30)
This is a soft, gentle cleansing solution that does not clog pores. It can also be used as a makeup remover. The solution is free from parabens, phthalates and mineral oils and contains 20% truffle oil as well as sweet almond oil, organic argan oil and rose extract.
Babor – #Masterpiece Ampule Set 7 ampules ($38)
This is a set of 7 ampules to repair dry or dehydrated skin. It contains 4 Hydra Plus Active Fluid (daytime use) and 3 Active Night Fluid ampules. After washing your face, you open an ampule and pour the fluid into your palm, then smooth it over your face, neck and upper chest. Then you apply a moisturizer.
Bad Medina Cosmetics – Like No Other Invested Shimmer Lipstick ($18)
This is such a pretty pink, shimmery lipstick! It just looks like a holiday party!
Dome Beauty – Diamond Shadow ($29)
This is a powder shadow with a rich, metallic pigment. You can make it darker by adding water to your brush. Very fancy!
Figs & Rouge – Avance+ Invisible Pores Night Detox Serum 1 oz ($39)
This is a clarifying and refining serum to help minimize pores, resurface and revitalize your skin. The active ingredients are Vitamin B5 and witch hazel. It is for normal to combination sensitive skin.
The 2016 Glossybox Holiday Limited Edition Box was a wonderful value for the price paid. I thought it was a little heavy on the skin care this year but that is just my opinion and you know what that’s worth! Last year there were more really nice cosmetics, including a great eyeshadow pallette. I would have liked more of the same, but expensive oils and serums were the chosen theme for 2016.
I love that it was heavy on skincare! I’ve never heard of these brands before so it’s great to be introduced to an entire box of them.
Oooh that pore refiner sounds AMAZING!!! Id love to have just that lol!!
This sounds like a great subscription program to be a part of. It offers a variety in each box, and great products. Thanks for sharing.
I got a glossybox subscription for my teenage niece a couple years ago and she LOVED it. It was a great gift. I got her something else this year but am going to do it again.
